samplesizelifter: amateurlifter: I’ve seen a lot of people giving out the advice that CVS has fake sticker tags/RFIDs, so I figured I’d go ahead and post a picture of an actual CVS tag. THIS IS A TAG. IT WILL BEEP. Likely nobody will care, but it will. Directly above my thumb, you see that white circle with the flat top? That’s the part that’s the tag. In person you’ll notice that it’s slightly raised. You’ll need to pull the sticker off (it’s stickier than a typical RFID) or maybe cutting through that part will work? Idk I don’t usually f with soft tags. This tag was on one of those It’s A Ten hair products, in the middle of the right side. The only things I’ve noticed tagged in the store are high end skincare and haircare products (assume electronics are source tagged, of course). .Stay safe, loves!
Rule of thumb: IF YOU SEE SILVER LINES THEN TREAT IT LIKE A RFID. Some CVS’s have stickers that say “to be sold at CVS in [city, state]” These stickers are circular and clear and have no silver circuitry. They don’t set off alarms. Please be careful out there
The stickers at Walreens also beep
